A Concept Store for Customizable Products

A client came to me with a goal to build a concept e-commerce website designed entirely around customizable products. The catch? They didn’t have a specific product line, inventory data, or clear creative direction. The only asset provided to me was a rough logo that also needed a facelift. The solution included:

1. Brand Identity

– Logo Redesign: Transformed the client’s logo into a modern vector asset suitable for a real e-commerce store establishing a fresh color palette for the brand.

2. Market Research and Inventory Conception

– Competitor Research: Researched industry leaders in personalized products to create ideal layouts and standard feature sets.
– Fictitious Products Creation: Invented realistic product lines, mock SKUs, and item descriptions to build out realistic looking storefront.
– Customization Mapping: Designed custom logic rules (text engraving fields, file uploads, material color swatches, etc.) based on real-world manufacturing constraints.

3. Storefront Design

– Category Infrastructure: Built a logical site navigation structure making it easy to sort through the newly created product catalog.
– E-commerce Store: Created a clean modern user interface turning a vague idea into a functioning realistic Shopify storefront ready for testing or investor pitches.
